Why this role matters

Sales Operations Management oversees team efforts to drive clear and simple processes and collaborate with stakeholders in supporting and improving sales related systems, procedures, activities and initiatives. We ensure effective assistance with contract processing, proposal development, data hygiene and accurate reporting. The Manager, Sales Operations, provides team leadership and oversight and ensures effective and ongoing support of Vonage’s Sales efforts.

What you'll do

  • Manage a team of Order Assurance Specialists and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple locations or product areas.
  • Set team activity timeframes and priorities based on Vonage sales and revenue objectives.
  • Ensure assigned teams meet established performance goals, including: Providing effective pre- and post-sales coordination and administrative support,Ad hoc training on sales process and systems,Assisting with order fulfillment,Researching and addressing customer and/or order issues,Creating new agent contract documentation and preparing and maintaining accurate records,Ensure clean data hygiene,Providing administrative and logistic support for RFP / RFI responses,Act as intake for all sales quote/ system errors.
  • Assist with migration and design of processes for CRM consolidation.
  • Prioritize and drive sales systems administration tickets and systems enhancement requests,
  • Anticipate sales and operational issues and develop and recommend preventative measures.
  • Identify and recommend steps to eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
  • Create, design and refine all sales process documentation for better sales enablement. 
  • Recommend and drive implementation of continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • What you'll bring

  • Experience leading or managing sales, operations or similar staff.
  • Advanced understanding of the full range of products and services provided by Vonage Business.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all areas of the sales cycle, including prospecting, initial discovery, presentation, demonstration and closing.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, speaking and listening.
  • Ability to: Consult with business leaders on operational and sales customer service-related issues, trends and challenges.Serve as a trusted advisor from a Sales Operations and Support perspective.Integrate trends, data and information into forecasts, plans, models and recommendations.Tailor communication approach to specific situations and audiences.
  • What's required for application

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related discipline.
