The Global Service Sales Manager
in this commercial leadership role has responsibility to execute the Aftermarket Service Sales vision, mission and revenue market strategy for Global Services specific to the M&M Business Unit. This individual will lead a high performing global team of nine Aftermarket Sales Representatives and Customer Service to achieve stated sales and margin expansion goals as well as execute against a series of critical initiatives oriented around the expansion of the service offering and overall service growth.
This individual will be responsible for delivery of revenue growth for M&M Service Sales and Customer Service, supporting the individual underlying divisional goals for the product lines. This position will closely liaise with the Regional Service Managers and Sales Managers to ensure we have the right commercial sales tools and portfolio to meet customer needs in all regions. Key measurements of success for this role will include performance against service revenue and margin expansion targets, performance against individual targets, as well as driving Customer Allegiance Score improvement. Assess market growth opportunity leveraging Commercial Sales and develop multi-year revenue growth strategy and execution plan. Develop go-to-market strategy for Service Sales for the product lines (segments to target, products to feature, channels to open, and sales resources to leverage) in partnership with our regional leadership for services and sales. Manage the annual process of creating account-based sales strategies and plans, sales assumptions and projections, sales goals and then execute to meet and exceed growth targets. Evaluate market conditions and the timely adjust sales strategy to successfully adapt to those changes. Execute to the plan, demonstrating measurement of success using Divisional KPIs such as forecast. Identify new innovative service offerings and collaborate with Marketing to scope, create value propositions, pilot, and stimulate market demand for Service Sales. Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial Operations to maintain a healthy sales funnel aligned with the Business Unit revenue goals. Harmonize, improve and drive commercial intensity with our customer services team to reach better customer communication, shorter order cycles and interaction with cross functional organizations to expedite backlog execution and transactions performance. Manage, coach and develop the Aftermarket Sales and Customer Services teams to enhance the capability of the commercial team, and build a bench of future leaders from within. Partner with divisional partner stakeholders to ensure alignment of commercial execution (e.g. customers to target, service products to feature, point of sales collaboration with division sellers, etc.). Provide VOC to business stakeholders to support product development and marketing Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelors degree or above in Business or related, or equivalent experience. 5 years+ experience in selling service product, preferably gained from working at multinational companies. 3 years+ experience in managing a service sales team Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position is desired. Background in analytical instrument industry is as plus. Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position. Effective decision-making skills Excellent communication skills verbal and written. Excellent written and verbal English multilingual preferred. Good Leadership skills Ability to acquire and apply commercial and technical expertise by staying up to date in industry and with market trends. Can manage multi-projects efficiently; plan and perform work in accordance with client requirements and professional standards. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficient MS-Office (At least proficient Excel, Word, PowerPoint operation) Ability to travel up to 75%.
