This position serves as the lead field contact for a geographic territory of assigned agents with ownership for profitable growth and maintenance of MSA's commercial surety book of business. Accountabilities include agency management, driving assigned agents to meet their business plan, and new business development.
Primary responsibilities include:
Maintain and grow current commercial surety premium base within assigned territory
Solicit and secure new agency appointments and new premium opportunities
Overall relationship management of assigned agents
Underwriting support for all Commercial Surety and Fidelity agents within territory
Partner with Field Operations to ensure all agents are exposed to Commercial Surety opportunities
This is a work from home, remote, position reporting to the Jacksonville office.
We will consider any geographic area where the candidate has a solid agency base and an established book of business with preference for the Western Region.
