Job Description

VP of Sales - USA

Summary

As VP of Sales USA, you will manage, lead, improve Ria’s agent sales force and grow Ria’s agent relationships, agent sales and maximize total gross profit margins and operating income for Ria’s United States agent business overseeing Ria’s United States agent sales force, revenue management and United States Agents P&L. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead revenue generation strategy, organization and operating plan for a growing money transfer business across diverse immigrant communities
  • Build and scale sales teams to effectively achieve revenue targets in both core and emerging corridors
  • Ensure optimal sales performance through training and creating a culture that clearly understands the mission of the company. Develop and prescribe metrics-driven accountability and techniques to provide the basis for management decisions and controls.
  • Identifying, signing and delivering new high-profile agent relationships and business directly
  • Drive productivity and efficiency through scalable go-to-marketing practices within the sales teams and across departments within the organization.
  • Partner with Marketing to establish and execute on shared goals and ensure full-funnel effectiveness
  • Forecast revenue projections and hiring needs based on sales and account management team performance and productivity
  • Identify and assimilate money transfer industry and competitive data to maintain a competitive position in the marketplace
  • Job Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a senior sales role to Fortune 1000; 5+ years of successful senior sales management experience
  • Track record in building and leading high-performing sales teams in organizations of at least $10M in revenue
  • Success selling across market segments and B2B vertical industries
  • Experience building and optimizing predictive revenue models
  • Experience evaluating new markets, channels and other strategic relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including superb written and oral communication skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-motivated, with a passion for success
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
  • Bilingual skills English/Spanish desired. Bilingual skills in other languages considered. 
  • Ability to travel 60%+
