The Regional Vice President, Sales NY will thrive in a start-up environment able to roll up your sleeves and do what's necessary to succeed. You will be a key stakeholder and a reliable resource to internal and external teams in the launch of our New York office initially targeting the ACE (Architecture, Construction and Engineering) vertical. You will be a hands-on with the ability to manage and lead the sales team to deliver and sell SaaS based mapping content and tools to business leaders in the Greater New York City area . Responsible for a multi-function team, you will demonstrate both enterprise and SME account sales leadership experience as well as Sales Development and have a track record of success in managing and developing SaaS sales teams. You will exceed in building and leading a high-performance sales organization, including quota-carrying and forecasting experience. Exceptional cross-organizational collaboration and communication skills and experience devising sales strategy and developing/contributing to enablement programs.. Lead and manage the New York sales team in achieving and exceeding individual, team and organizational quotas.. Create and drive new and strategic go-to-market plans to meet company growth and market share goals.. Drive strategic deals and accounts.. Drive and monitor account planning and execution to deliver maximum revenue potential.. Provide strategic executive leadership for the NY sales team including; sales forecasting, territory assignments, sales coaching and commission planning.. Coach sales teams by helping structure sales opportunities and deals; further assist with selling activities as appropriate; ensure the sales team is working collaboratively with operations, sales engineering and other internal/external teams.. Develop annual sales forecasts using a combination of top-down and bottom-up input.. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive activity and client opportunities; attend trade shows, industry events, internal meetings and conferences.. Oversee customer satisfaction and renewals.. Holds team members accountable with clear objectives, KPIs and processes.. Drive high performance in the company through managing, coaching, training and providing quality feedback.. Recruit and retain high performers, develop talent and recognize and reward performance.. Facilitate regular company meetings to increase team collaboration, discuss issues, share knowledge, celebrate achievements and provide training and direction.. More about what you need to bring. Previous experience as part of the executive team of a company during a period of rapid growth. Bachelors Degree in business or related field. Experience in global technology industry, preferably in start-up environments and SaaS based. Knowledge of ACE industries a plus. Strong relationship management and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment, you're flexible and able to handle unexpected events and able to shift directions when needed. An entrepreneurial spirit, you stop at nothing to get the job done and succeed; you're not afraid to work hard or long hours. Excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills.
