Consulting Firm, located in the New York metropolitan area close to mass transit, is seeking an Account Manager . Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with clients, connecting with key business executives/stakeholders, and identify and running with new business opportunities. This role is also responsible for developing leads and set appointments into new business development within their territory. Features: OTE: +$125k (Base + Bonus; there is no cap on commission) Full Health Benefits Work from Home on Friday Daily Leads Provided/Assigned Accounts The Account Manager will have an exclusive sales territory to work from, and be responsible for developing new business with new clients in that area. Qualified applicants will have the following: Must Have: Experience selling Information Technology (IT) products and/or services 5-10 years Business to Business (B2B) sales experience Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Excels in long sales cycles. Solution oriented. Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills Generates new leads, makes sales appointments with clients Ability to deliver engaging sales presentations Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge Good to Have: Experience with selling consulting services related to Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce & IBM a plus Experience with software licensing or software audits a plus Miller Heiman or Sandler Sales Training are a plus. Additional Details: Work from home on Friday College Degree required Some travel required Sales Account Manager responsibilities include: Generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success Develop positive relationships and handling clients needs Act as the point of contact and handle customers individual needs Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner Report on the status of accounts and transactions Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) ? Requirements Proven work experience as a Sales account manager or Sales account executive Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular) Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field
