YOUR ROLE

The SVP, Global Sales Director position at Craft is responsible for establishing Crafts global sales strategy, building regional and local sales resources, creating playbooks and training programs to new business from new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fully leveraging and championing Crafts powerful, global production network and capabilities. The position will be based in NYC. The ideal candidate will have developed their skills in a consulting organization.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for global sales function: setting global selling strategy, processes, building teams.
  • Identifying client and brand categories and creating an acquisition strategy focused on key growth areas provided by marketing and leadership
  • Prospecting, qualifying leads, pitching and closing sales opportunities.
  • Establishing best practices in sales process, pipeline management and reporting.
  • Coaching, mentoring and building strong sales skills among team members.
  • Developing sales tools and processes and ensuring best practice.
  • Participating in setting growth targets with executive management.
  • Meet provided annual targets
  • Hold regional teams accountable to meet annual targets
  • Working with regional and practice area MDs to in setting strategy and resources and identifying key growth opportunities from current clients, including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Mastering the full range of Craft capabilities. And attain a good working understanding of McCann Worldgroup (MW), IPG network capabilities and new business growth teams and offerings.
  • Forming collaborative relationships with Growth leads in MWG and IPG companies.
  • Initiating growth opportunities as well as leveraging MWGs in-network and industry pitches.
  • Partner with pitch leadership teams in during the pitch process.
  • Working with marketing creating case histories that dynamically show case our value.
  • Building relationships with prospects key decision makers.
  • Developing strong relationships with all local intermediaries and new business consultants
  • Maintaining thought leadership positions on industry and sales trends.

  • REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Has a minimum of 8 years of sales experience, production experience preferred but not required
  • Proven track record in building sales strategies
  • Proven track record of driving growth, building and leading teams
  • Team oriented and passionate about creativity
  • Proven track record of working with multidiscipline teams in pitching and closing on opportunities
  • Curious and eager to learn about the creative production industry
  • Comfortable working in a matrixed management structure.
  • Bachelors Degree and MBA preferred
