MarketStar has a Sales Manager position open in their Ogden office for a direct sales motion. The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day activities and performance of the sales representatives reporting to them.
Key Responsibilities & Attributes for Success:
Successfully drive team to meet and exceed weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas
Monitor the team s performance and identify achievements as well as areas of focus.
Ensure continued progress of the team by proactively taking responsibility for the sales representatives day-to-day development and performance
Motivate sales representatives to succeed, manage program day-to-day activities, training, logistics and other activities as required
Consistent coaching, including:
o Live call monitoring
o Rep score-carding
o Rep 1-on-1
o Rep performance evaluations
o Ongoing career development
Identification of best practices, provide insight to the team
Provide program feedback and strategic recommendations for additional program strategies, tactics, revisions and implementations based on observations of the programs people, processes, and product
Consistently review team and program-level reporting to understand team s performance and provide guidance and insight to team members, leaders and client
What s required to be considered?
Knowledge and experience in direct sales
2 or more years of management/supervisory experience or equivalent in a telesales environment
Direct, B2B, and Telesales experience required
Superior communication and writing skills
Computer experience/knowledge required. Knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office required
Must have ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously
Must have an adaptive management style and be able to work at micro and macro levels
Knowledge of management theory and performance analytics
