We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team .   The Commercial Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and servicing of assigned commercial accounts.  This position works to manage new and existing client account relationships, while maintaining a high level of client service and satisfaction.  The Account Manager is responsible for achieving agency account retention goals by providing extraordinary client service; achieving growth goals through proactive account rounding and cross selling; and marketing and placement of renewal accounts as appropriate.  This position will be located in our Charlotte, NC office.

Requirements of a strong candidate for this role include:

  • Current P&C License (or ability to obtain one)
  • Completion of CISR or CIC designation
  • Extensive knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance, including sophisticated and less common coverage options
  • Thorough knowledge of brokerage operations including claims handling, procedures, carrier rating, agency management systems and applicable insurance laws/codes
  • Familiarity with risk assessment and risk management techniques
  • Experience with Epic Agency Management System highly desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) strongly preferred
