Lead InVues North American sales region (US and Canada) and B2B sales team that is equipped to penetrate the leading consumer retail chains that require display and merchandise security solution, digital marketing and fixed or mobile point of sale (mPOS) display frames. These include mobile carrier/telecommunication retailers, big box retailers, consumer electronics retailers, pharmacy and grocery retailers, sporting goods retailers, DIY retailers and department stores chains. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Sales, the Director of Sales, North America will provide regular updates and interact daily with the other areas of the company to ensure InVue is positioned as a premium brand offering the industry superior value, to achieve our growth objectives.Responsibilities: Execute InVues sales strategies and initiatives throughout North American using best-in-class methods, including account targeting, customer needs evaluation, presentations, quotation, testing/trials and deal close through their team of Business Development Managers who are regional deployed across the US and Canada Personally, manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities Provide strong leadership and clear customer-centric direction to a highly engaged inside & outside sales team, including developing and mentoring Develop detailed forecasting models, by customer and product line to achieve targeted sales goals and objectives Manage travel and expense allocations that meet corporate objectives and revenue growth expectations Ensure established B2B sales targets are being achieved and take corrective action where required, including revising strategies, territorial coverage, accountability, and other actions required to achieve established targets Provide accurate monthly forecasts and reports to measure performance and results Build a culture of accountability and major focus on deal closure Ensure business and employee practices are consistent with InVue policies and procedures Work with the other key functions in the company to communicate areas that need support to improve our customer service, product needs, and marketing communications Develop and lead a high-performance sales team that achieves revenue targets, new product sales goals, and gross margin goals across all InVue product categories Provide customer feedback, market trends, competitor activity, and product insights to assist with development and prioritization of new product roadmaps Develop each team members ability to achieve key targets including increased revenue and profits, new product growth, accurate forecasting and effective problem solving Collaborate cross-functionally in-order to support business development, strategy formulation, new product specification, and new opportunity identification Identify, analyze, and report on competitive threats, competitive pricing, customer concerns, and market dynamics Qualifications: BS/BA degree required At least 10 years of B2B Sales Management experience Experience working for a US based organization selling Goods not for Resale into Retail Understanding and extensive knowledge of the leading US and Canadian Retailers Experience managing revenue approximately $50-$100 million USD Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as proven ability to lead remote teams Drive, energy, enthusiasm and a strong work ethic Ability to successfully prospect and generate sales and build superb relationships Strong beliefs in ownership, accountability, ethics and transparency Thrives in fast paced environment and proficient at meeting or exceeding aggressive milestones Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills Entrepreneurial, creative and high-energy team player with excellent business acumen, strategic thinking ability and strong sales experience Strong track record of hiring, managing, and leading sales organizations and major account teams that consistently achieve targets and objectives Clear track record of acquiring new customers and bringing new products to market Examples of hiring, developing, and top grading sales teams Developed VP-level and C-level relationships within strategic customers Commercialized products or solutions into green field or blue ocean markets, gained early customer adoption, and quickly established profitable revenue Gained adoption of new products and product categories within existing customers Ability to travel 60%+ About InVue:InVue (www.invue.com) creates technology solutions for retailers, commercial businesses, and Institutions that improve customer profitability, efficiency, and security.
