then start a career with the igus sales team! We are seeking a motivated sales professional who is excited to work with a global leader in engineered plastics. You will help enhance customer applications and transform industries ranging from solar technology to automotive manufacturing, making a major impact on a variety of businesses as well as our own.

  • Application engineering and product design assistance for new and existing customers (technical training provided)
  • Maintaining existing customers while prospecting and finding new customers
  • Creating and delivering customized sales proposals
  • Making customer visits, 3-4 days of local travel per week
  • Strong technical skills: ability to understand technical concepts and provide hands-on demonstrations with our products
  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in technical or industrial sales preferred
  • Keen organizational, computer, communication, market research, cold-calling, sales, and closing skills
  • Familiarity with an industrial/manufacturing environment a plus
  • Sales certificate in professional selling preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver s license
  • Competitive base salary with annual performance increases, plus uncapped commission
