If so, lets talk. **Your Role and Responsibilities** Join Acoustic, one of the fastest growing Marketing Cloud companies, and lead new business sales within the Northeast Region. Acoustic is 100% focused on the marketer, striving to provide the best possible technology to unleash the brilliance that is inside every marketer. This position requires self-motivation to prospect, identify, qualify new business clients in a defined region, across all verticals. Proficiency with web conferencing tools, and the ability to create and build professional relationships with marketers and IT executives both over the wire, and in person are critical. You think differently, and look for out-of-the-box ways to engage clients, and be provocative to bring them new ideas on how to leverage technology to create more effective marketing campaigns that return real business value. You'll work directly, with partners, and as part of a team that you assemble around each client's specific needs and business goals. You will drive sales through closure, and engage and partner with the Client Director to ensure long term customer satisfaction and repeat business. As a successful candidate, you will have previous sales experience, software-as-a-service preferred, in a marketing environment preferred, and will have demonstrated ability to prospect, drive, and close business and exceed quota. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** + 1 year of sales experience, preferably with SAAS, ideally with marketing technologies + A proven track record of quota achievement + Current residence within VT, ME, NH, MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ territory + The ability to travel up to 50% of the time **Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise** + 3 years of sales experience with SaaS **About Business Unit** At IBM Cognitive Applications, we build open applications that unlock the power of data for clients, partners, and developers.
