Job responsibilities: (shall include but not be limited to the following) Oversees and executes all aspects of real estate transactions including site selection, acquisitions, dispositions, site redevelopments, and contract negotiations throughout the Americas region; portfolio management and the development of a deep understanding of Honeywell’s properties and markets to maximize real estate value and/or provide Strategic Planners with strategic recommendations (and associated financial analysis); working with Americas Project Management team to analyze and develop tenant improvement requirements and costs; serves as internal partner with Strategic Planners and business leaders to ensure real estate strategies and business priorities are aligned; oversee partnership with real estate broker partners and external relationship management with property owners, property managers, tenants, and legal counsel; interfacing with governmental entities involving zoning, permitting and tax issues; identifying and contributing cost saving opportunities for all project activities on a regular basis; communicating frequently with all levels of the project teams, customers and management; updating corporate real estate database.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of Corporate / Commercial Real Estate experience

  • Master’s degree or MBA and 7+ years of related experience Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within the Real Estate or Asset Management (or related) discipline.
  • Previous experience with mixed portfolio operations (manufacturing, R&D, office).
  • Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
  • Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure.
  • Ability to exercise judgement in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business priorities and objectives.
  • Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems, leveraging advanced knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
  • Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.
  • Knowledge of the industry’s competitive landscape and an understanding of the market factors that shape the industry.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with a strong detail orientation.
  • Strong level of customer services skills and professionalism.
  • Ability to travel 30%.
