A BlueData Sales Executive is an Individual who can find, cultivate and close Enterprise class, SW based opportunities. He or she must have experience selling business outcomes to the Line of Business owners as well as IT. Big Data and Business Analytics experience is a must while infrastructure sales experience is a plus. Must be a seasoned professional with skilled written and presentation expertise and the ability to create and deliver Executive level proposals. Must have the ability to work both as a direct sales representative selling to the end user as well as a sales specialist supporting channels and other organizations who sell to the end user. The role is geography based with Global Fortune 500 focus and requires 25% travel.The sales rep must understand both on premise and public clouds strategies, containers/Kubernettes and AI/ML workloads. BlueData Sales Executives must be able to work across multiple functional organizations to identify and understand a companies desired business outcome, assess and develop an consultative approach, build an ROI and secure budget.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and find new leads to exponentially grow pipeline
  • Qualify opportunities in or out base defined criteria
  • Drive qualified sales opportunities in accordance with a defined sales motion
  • Develop and deliver multi-million dollar proposals unique to specific to customer requirements
  • Establish and maintain Executive level customer relationships across multiple functional organizations
  • Enable and assist both channel and internal/external partners as a highly skilled sales specialist
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven successful track record in Enterprise SW Sales
  • Analytics Sales Experience including at least one of the followingBig Data / AnalyticsArtificial Intelligence / Machine Learning SoftwareBusiness Intelligence Software
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Experience assisting customers migrate or transforming from legacy solutions to the cloud
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services (Hadoop, Apache tools, Docker, Networking, etc....), products (Cloudera, Hortonworks, DataBricks, TensorFlow, etc)
