Job Description:

This role leads a large sales organization responsible for all new Defined Contribution and Payroll business in the Core Market ($0 - $50m in Defined Contribution Assets Under Administration). The Core Market makes up over 95% of all potential plan sponsors in the market, so this sales team is focused on high volumes of activity, both in person and virtually, to deliver on its sales goals. This team forms the future of our overall sales organization with strong performers moving from this team to the rest of the sales organization and eventually becoming our top sales people in every market. This role sets the tone and foundation for the entire organization and is passionate about continual improvement, deliberate practice and strength in our diversity and inclusion.

The Team
This role leads an organization of over 120 sales professionals, including a 10 person management team. This market accounts for ~ 40% of Workplace Investing?s operating income and this team is responsible for the continued profitable growth of this business. As a senior leader, he or she will interact with peers in Relationship Management, Operations, Implementation, Communications and the various Agile Tribes and Squads in setting overall strategy for the Core Market. It reports directly into the Head of Sales for Workplace Investing.

Coach, lead and develop a team of sales leaders and create an environment where they will get the most out of themselves and their teams.
Engage and collaborate internally with key partners across among the Sales Leaders, Relationship Management, Marketing, Product, Finance and other parts of the business to set strategy for this business.
Lead externally in the marketplace and advocate on behalf of the needs of small companies and advisors.
Represent the voices of the market and of the customer ? specifically small companies and advisors, amongst the senior team within Fidelity.
