The Vice President, DWR Contract Sales will lead a national sales team focused on building DWRs B2B business in the Hospitality, Commercial and Residential Development sectors. This includes leading all business development and sales marketing, and working closely with product development, merchandising, operations and logistics functions for the business. DWR Contract is one of the fastest growing areas for DWR. You will plan, coordinate and lead all aspects of building a high-growth, profitable Contract business to contribute to DWRs and Herman Millers broader growth strategy. What youll do: You'll have opportunities to design, achieve and build relationships every day as you Lead the Contract team to deliver planned strategic, financial and brand equity objectives Build and lead the Contract team to develop new capabilities to support the business growth, and provide exceptional results and support to current and potential customers Represent DWR Contract in key Hospitality, Commercial and Residential Development industry events Develop strong, collaborative working relationships with key customers, all critical vendor partners and key internal DWR partners and Herman Miller Develop and implement annual business plan for profitable growth Provide accurate P&L and sales forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities Oversee daily business operations business development, sales, product development, operations (sourcing, project leadership, logistics) Lead the development of new processes, systems and reporting that support Contract business growth in addition to contributing new capabilities and process improvements for the broader business Address and resolve escalated vendor, customer, partner and team issues in a timely and thorough manner Develop best practices for working with Herman Miller dealers Identify and hire new sales team members. Coach, mentor and develop current sales team. Does this sound like you? This might be you if you have the following skills and abilities 10-15 years experience in sales with 7 years in hospitality and/or commercial contract sales. Proven leader with strong business acumen and experience creating value and driving a long-term growth strategy in a fast-paced environment Significant Contract sales and operational leadership experience ideally across all three industry sectors - Hospitality, Commercial and Residential Development Highly-motivated self-starter with the ability to quickly change gears based on business needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and build effective relationships externally and internally Adept at quickly identifying, interpreting and solving problems.
