POSITION PROFILE: (Basic Purpose of Position) The Sales Performance Manager is responsible for managing sales operational reviews, analysis projects and statistical studies to ensure sales performance, execution and achievement of growth objectives. Working with internal stakeholders, this role is responsible for driving key revenue performance objectives.
MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)
Works closely with the Commercial Management team and independently to plan, deliver, manage, and consistently drive orders & sales performance.
Builds trust and credibility with Sales Leadership to deliver high quality data that drive engagement, business understanding and partnership.
Data cleansing/processing - work with finance and IT to create automated processes to ingest and cleanse data from multiple data sources to develop weekly, monthly and live reports and dashboards for management and sales team
Tracking of key sales performance indicators via creation of both standardized and custom reports and live Dashboards
Conduct sales performance and quantitative analysis at multiple levels - SKU, product line, site, regional and customer - and create reports with variances to IOP or forecast for Sales leaders
Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data to increase sales productivity
Establish and drive sales team s forecast accuracy improvement process.
Drive the BioPharma Business Unit forecasting improvement plan for strategic accounts, regional sales and manufactured product lines.
Work with SIOP team by providing them the necessary information and guidance for short and long-term forecast
Develop and deliver complete sales reporting by chemical product lines and global accounts
Analyze results / gaps and develop reports containing compelling conclusions, ideas and guidance to influence our commercial teams to action
Analyze all historical evidence and facts in utilization with statistical methods.
Runs a metrics-focused program. Communicates consistent metric updates to all speakers and program stakeholders.
Collaborates to react quickly to any decrease in metrics, putting a plan into place with speakers/stakeholders to make immediate improvements.
Identify potential approaches to programmatically increase pipeline, or to address other sales execution goals as determine by sales and marketing management.
Coordinate with CRM leads pipeline measurement, trending and potential inclusion in
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)
High performer with 3-6 years of top-tier project-based professional experience (e.g.., consulting or management training program)
Experience in general management, commercial functions (sales, forecasting, pricing, product management) and data analytics.
Bachelor s degree required. MBA preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
Experience with Qlikview and Qliksense reporting and visualizations
Experience in implementing and streamlining multiple data processes,
Ability to connect the dots and work with cross-functional teams to drive results
Proven track record of working with and influencing sales reps and executives
Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)
Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
Travel approximately up to 25% of the time with some overnight travel likely.
Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.
