The Account Manager Occupational Medicine is responsible daily outside sales activities retaining existing clients and focusing, prospecting and capturing new accounts through the promotion of all service lines. Working closely with the Operations Manager of Occupational Medicine and Medical Director, the Account Manager will understand established pricing models, anticipate primary market competitors and deliver best in class service to all existing or prospective clients. The primary focus of the account executive will be to maximize sales profitability and growth by meeting the overall needs of internal and external clients and prospects.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field required.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three years direct experience in a sale/marketing environment required, experience with CRM system preferred. The Account Manager Occupational Medicine must have through understanding of Insurance contracts and pricing, in both the self-funded and fully insured markets and knowledge of benefit plan designs and worker's compensation. Prior experience with contracting, RFP submission and/or government bidding required. Knowledge of Occupational Medicine and Worker's Compensation preferred.

This position requires frequent walking and standing and occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
