GENERAL SUMMARY:

The MS Global Inside Account Manager will serve as an extension of the Microsoft Global Business Manager with the responsibility for broader coverage in their downstream Global Account subsidiary and affiliate locations.The primary success measure will be pipeline generation, opportunity win rate, uncovering competitive threats, and landed revenue.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Initiate phone calls to subsidiaries of major global organizations to ensure satisfaction with MS and uncover net new revenue opportunities

Build strong client relationships and help cultivate new prospects within the organization

Drive world-class CPE through providing the right MS resources, at the right time, to the right situation

Utilize various software applications to optimize efficiency and performance

Build effective relationships with the Global Sales Channel to maximize account coverage

Continually develop communication skills for higher level of effectiveness

Develop awareness of client/customer needs and expectations

Speaking - Speaks Mandarin Chinese and organizes ideas and demonstrates strong verbal communication techniques

Self-Management - acts responsibly and chooses ethical courses of action

Teamwork - contributes to group efforts

Computer - uses to acquire, organize, analyze and communicate information

Prior Territory/Portfolio Management experience

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or related fields/or equivalent work experience

BA/BS in Sales/Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience

2+ years of strong customer service background and/or 3+ years proven track record in sales and prospecting

Experience in business or project planning execution and evaluation of results

Presentation skills a MUST

Previous experiences calling into/working with C-Level executive

Ability to speak fluent Mandarin REQUIRED
